On Sunday 5th September, Dartington Morris Men will once again host a Morris dance event at the Civic Square, Totnes, featuring at least six local Morris sides, as part of the Totnes Festival.

The invited teams are members of the three national Morris organisations, and are based in South Devon and East Cornwall. Morris Teams that have been invited include:

• Exeter Morris
• Harberton Navy
• Dartmoor Border Morris
• Plymouth Morris Men
• Newton Bushel
• Wreckers

The Sides will gather on the Plains at 10.30am, with dancing starting at 11am. Half of the sides will dance on the Plains and half at the Civic Square, swapping places at around noon and dancing until 1.00pm.

Impromptu music and dancing will continue from 2-4pm at the Dartmouth Inn.
